This film celebrates many women filmmakers but certainly not all. There are so many more women, trans, and genderqueer filmmakers creating imperative works across the globe, continuing to pave the way for the rest of us. May this film share one small sample of the great many filmmakers and artists out there who continue to struggle and persevere, carving out paths and shining guiding lights for the rest of us.
