Mirjam Bešter

Mirjam Bešter has a BA in Philosophy and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Arts, Ljubljana. Her interest in art motivated her to pursue a master’s degree in illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, and this was her first contact with animation.

Jovana Đukić

Jovana Đukić is an artist and 2D animator from Slovenia, currently completing her studies at the Ljubljana Academy of Fine Arts and Design. Her animated works have been shown at major festivals and event across Slovenia and internationally, including the US, Lebanon, Netherlands, Romania, and Croatia. Her passion for animation has led to interesting collaborations, particularly with companies in Denmark.

Nika Rupar

Nika Rupar attended the Secondary School of Design and Photography, Ljubljana, before graduating, in 2021, in Visual Communication Design from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, where she is currently a master’s student. During her studies, she has made three short animations.

Domen Sajovic

Born in Kranj, Domen Sajovic is in Year 3 of his Digital Arts and Practices studies at the School of Arts Nova Gorica. While his focus is on puppet stop-motion animation, he is also interested in other animation techniques. His other passions include film, making music, analogue photography, and new media. After making his first animated short last year, he is currently working on his graduation animation.

Melita Sandrin

Melita Sandrin is in Year 3 of her Digital Arts and Practices studies at the School of Arts Nova Gorica. She is from Čakovec, Croatia, where she entered the world of animation at a young age, attending the children’s School of animation (ŠAF). In her spare time, she likes to paint, draw and watch films. She has recently taken up stop motion animation and other traditional animation techniques.

Tamara Taskova

Tamara Taskova was born in Stip, Northern Macedonia. In 2017, she moved to Slovenia and graduated from the Nova Gorica Secondary School, Department of Arts. She now studies Digital Arts and Practices at the School of Arts Nova Gorica, exploring 2D, mostly digital animation.
