Mouse House: The making of the hand-drawn animation
28. 11.–4. 12. 2022
Silvan Furlan Hall, Slovenian Cinematheque
A mouse gets trapped in an old truckle of cheese. Busy munching its soft core, he forgets about his famished friend outside. Meanwhile, the cat is waiting…
The animated short film Mouse House was directed and animated by Timon Leder, a Slovenian filmmaker who has devoted his time and energy to animation from a very early age. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Ljubljana, before continuing his training in France. To date, Timon has made a number of animated films as a director and worked on many more as an illustrator and animator. He often uses animal characters to address moral and social issues, and his latest animated short, Mouse House, is no exception.
