Clémence Bragard
After studying audiovisual and digital footage preservation, Clémence Bragard worked for French broadcasters as an archivist. Meanwhile, she got involved in animation festivals, such as OIAF in Ottawa, FMX in Stuttgart, VAF in Viborg. She graduated later from Gobelins as a production manager and worked in a Paris-based CG animation studio. Since 2014, she has been curating independently various events related to the animation industry. She was the main programmer of the National animation film festival in France for 5 years. She is currently a committee member of the CNC, as well as a programmer, presenter-moderator of Annecy Festival, and the creator of the podcast “Animation Hotline”.
Jean-François Le Corre
Jean-François Le Corre graduated in Economy and Communication. From 1992 to 1994, he worked as production manager for Lazennec Bretagne. In April 1998, he created the production company Vivement lundi ! with a focus on documentaries and animated films and series. His productions and co-productions received 5 César nominations, 4 Oscars nominations and won 3 European Film Awards and more than 500 awards in prominent events, such as FESPACO, FIFA Annecy, Critics Week Cannes, Sundance Film Festival, Clermont-Ferrand Short Films Festival, Locarno Film Festival… He worked as teacher and mentor for Rennes University, French National Audiovisual Institute or CEE Animation Workshop. Oscar® nominated in 2019, he entered The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences as a member in 2020.
Boris Labbé
Former student of the School of Animated Film of Angoulême, Boris Labbé has created works that have been seen around the world, in contemporary art exhibitions, international film festivals and audiovisual concerts. He has received over fifty awards, including the Animafest Zagreb Grand Prix and the Golden Nica Award at Ars Electronica. He is currently developing a virtual reality project (Mono no aware, Sacrebleu Productions) and a video scenography (Glass House, produced by Ensemble Cairn).
Jelena Popović
Jelena Popović fled her native war-torn Sarajevo in 1992 and immigrated to Canada, where she graduated with a B.A. in Film Production. She forged her skills in production of conventional, interactive and hybrid documentary and animation films, directed the documentary The Knights of Orlando and edited Patrick Doyon’s Oscar-nominated short Sunday, as well as several editions of Hothouse, the National Film Board of Canada’s acclaimed animation mentorship. Producer at the NFB English Program Animation Studio since January 2014, Jelena has produced and coproduced a dozen multi-awarded films, including Hedgehog’s Home, Manivald, Caterpillarplasty, Turbine, I’m OK, Meneath: The Hidden Island of Ethics.
Matija Šturm
Matija Šturm is the Chairman of the Slovenian Animated Film Association (DSAF) and the Managing Director of CEE Animation Forum & Workshop. He has been involved in the realization of professional animated shorts, animated shorts made at creative workshops, and medium- and feature-length documentaries. He is the author or co-author of papers and articles, an occasional visiting lecturer, and organiser of various animation programmes. He works with a range of producers and filmmakers worldwide, as well as with organisers of film festivals, film markets, pitching and other events. In his professional capacity, he sees and rates about 150 animated works in development per year.
