The most promising 5

We chose 5 projects in development that will take part in this year's AnimatekaPRO Pitch training and competition for short animated film projects in development from the Ex-Yugoslavian region. From the 9 submissions recieved, these are the ones who made it through the selection process:

Fachuk, Maida Srabović, Janja Pilić (Tetrabot), Croatia

Family Portrait, Lea Vidaković, Draško Ivezić (Adriatic Animation), Croatia

All the selected participants will be assisted with booking accommodation in Ljubljana and accreditation to the 16th Animateka.

Pitching sessions will be preceded by a workshop led by an expert tutor to discuss and/or fine-tune the strengths and weaknesses of your project as well as best pitching strategies.
The training will take place on Monday, 2 December from 14.00 to 20.00.

The next day on Tuesday, 3 December from 9.00 to 11.00, each participating project team will have 10-minute slots to execute the pitching presentations. The members of the international jury (experienced film professionals and/or film and TV executives), will choose the winning project and will also give a special mention.

Two members of the winning project will receive an invitation to CEE Animation Forum 2020, including free accreditations to the event and to Anifilm International Animated Film Festival, 3 nights accommodation, meals and transport.

The organizer of the AnimatekaPRO Pitch 2019 is Društvo za oživljanje zgodbe 2 koluta in partnership with CEE Animation Forum and in collaboration with the Slovene Animated Film Association and Bunker.
