In five sets of animated shorts, Aimateka's Best of the World gives you a rundown of what deserves special mention in the world of auteur animation. Among the featured films are the works of some of the festival’s former jury members.
Buñuel And The Labyrinth Of The Turtles is the first feature film to be screened this festival. Catch it at 9 pm at the Slovenian Cinematheque for a chance to get to know the great Spanish artist a little bit better.
For the festival, two exhibitions and The Elephant programme, today is the day! Te 16th edition of Animateka is dedicated to the memory of the Dutch artist and member of the Animateka 2015 jury, Rosto, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
