“What would you be willing to do for them to love you?” Love Me, Fear Me is a danced-out metaphor about the roles we play and the shapes we take, about the stages we chose, the audience we try to impress and the price of acceptance.

At first glance, it seems that Square lives among the chaos and endless changes. But next, we can notice that the systems in which it functions, are constantly repeated, introducing a routine, hypnotising without allowing any movement. Once, a new element sneaks into the pattern, which, for a moment, will allow to look at the reality a little differently.

“Some days you wake up and you don’t know how or why but everything feels different!” Katrine leads an ordinary life, with a regular job and a happy relationship with her boyfriend, Patrick, until one day she awakes to find the world around her has changed: it is as it always has been, but somehow it’s strange!

In the language of Colombian indigenous people, “Hycha Guaia” means “I am the Mother Earth”. A Shaman drinks a beverage made of a hallucinogenic plant, commonly known as “yajé”. He starts to travel through the terrestrial, underground and superior world, trying to connect the cosmos, nature and the human being.

Jegulja / L'anguilla / The Eel
The friendship between two children raised together in the Po Valley countryside is lost when one has to move with his family. They will meet again as adults, thanks to the eel, a call from the depths of the earth. The film is dedicated to the land and the people of the Emilia region, shaken by the earthquake in 2012.
