This short stop-motion animation was created in only five hours at entrance exams of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana in 2017. The theme was reinterpretation of an artwork. The animation is inspired by Osvaldo Cavandoli’s La Linea.

A man spent most of his life in a prison. His body is covered in tattoos, which says plenty about his criminal past and high authority status. But at one point, the time comes to leave the prison... Would it be easy for the inmate to leave his comfort zone?

In a nameless city populated by featureless residents, which are driven by the energies both alien and insidious, revolving equinox of night and day takes place. Swaying between momentum and dullness, that never-changing cycle is represented by the neon commercials, which command every action of aforementioned residents and create their paradoxical and ouroboric reality.

The music video follows the path of death which has taken a form of a vulture while flying through ancient Irish lands. The story is portraying the universality of death - no matter one's station in life, the dance of death unites all. It is equally a tale of the circle of life and Irish folklore with its surrounding mysteries.

Istok / Istók / Istok
In the swamps of Hanság lived a little boy, Istók, aged 8-10, happily fishing and hunting in harmony with the animals around him. One day fishermen caught him and brought the boy to the nearby castle in Kapuvár, where he was kept in prison like an animal. The story is based on an 18th century legend.

My animation is a loop of constant human desires. People always crave things and have wishes. My animation shows a character constantly running to another object of desire.

Proces / Proces / Process
An animated short about the process of animation as it is taught art schools. The plot follows a character that wakes up one morning as a letter in a Word document. As soon as he becomes aware of himself as an animated character, his transformations start. Finally, after the mash of layouts, once the exporting takes place, the character goes through immense stress and panic.
Otok / Island
On Earth joy is just passable. When it comes to permanent happiness, I doubt that anybody knows what it is. The Island is a place of colours, sounds, horizon, smells. A person merges with the island, the island grows inside them and that is how the island gives birth to fulfilment.
Water Hunters
Adventures of two thieves in a near and dystopian future, where water has become a currency and is exchanged to buy the food produced through the water itself. The two thieves, rivals first then allies, will find themselves comparing the reality of a devastated and arid world with the memories of their childhood, when another future could be written.

Each year, a planet full of monsters passes by another planet, inhabited by aliens. While the others hide in their homes in fear of alien visitors, young Pif still has to find his way home through the darkness.

Late season - that´s the calm that follows summer´s blazing energy. Late season means that shadows grow, and awareness creeps in that every holiday comes to an end at some time. The animated film Late Season renders this basic feeling of melancholy in a couple that has grown old.

A boy lives with his grandmother in an Eastern European village. His parents are both working abroad, so the boy is left to his own devices. He fills his time with a mysterious project - a powerful ‘flying machine’ that would take him to his parents. This project keeps him going, until one day he makes an unexpected friend who needs his care and protection.
Muzejski čuvaj / Museumswärter / Museum Guard
Who, when finding themselves alone and unobserved in a large, reverberant room, can resist the temptation to clap their hands or raise their voice? Surely nobody. So nearly everyone can identify with the anonymous subject of Museum Guard, Alexander Gratzer´s animated film, who turns the exhibition space into his very own stage.
