Veljko Popović

Veljko Popović, born in 1979 in Split, Croatia. Graduated in 2003 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Department of Painting. In 2005 he co-founded Lemonade3D, a studio for 2D and 3D graphics and animation. In 2004 he began teaching at the Arts Academy in Split, and in 2011 he was appointed Head of Film and Video department. He has created several short animated films, such as She Who Measures, My Way, and Dove Sei, Amor Mio. His upcoming film was awarded the abbaye de fontevraud award at the pitching forum in Annecy 2013. In 2014 he was appointed Head of culture council for Film and Media Arts of town of Split and nominated for membership in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Los Angeles.
