Soetkin Verstegen (1982) studied Audiovisual Arts in Brussels and Cultural Studies in Leuven, Belgium. She works as a freelancer in stopmotion animation for studios and television. For the production of Mr Sand she was granted the AniDox Residency at the Animation Workshop in Denmark.
