Matilda Tavelli

Born in 1967 in Ajaccio, France, Matilda now lives and works in Geneva. After studies in visual arts, photography and graphic design in the early 90s, she took up various jobs in the Geneva cultural world, first as a radio host for cultural shows and then as a programmer for film festivals, while among other things collaborating on animation film productions and developing educational tools related to animation, within public and private institutions. In 2006, she co-founded the Geneva Animation Film Festival Animatou, which she has been co-directing since.
