Martin Babić

Martin Babić

Martin Babić was born in 1987 in Zagreb, Croatia. Since then a series of unpredictable events led to him graduating from the School of Applied Art and Design, followed by receiving an MA degree in Animation and New Media at the Academy of Fine Art in Zagreb. Focusing primarily on Stop-motion puppet film and 2D computer animation he made his debut film Jure Grando – Štrigun from Kringa and since then animated Ivan Mirko Senjanović’s Fruit and three episodes of Croatian animated documentary show Tko preživi, pričat će to name a few. He really enjoys animation, hamburgers, music, philosophy, creating stuff and wondering what could have been and what could not have been. He has no idea how his life will end but then again, who does? The Universe does work in mysterious ways.
