Films are competing, awards are waiting!

The competition programmes are already underway! Today you can seethe Student competition programme II, and the main Competition programme III, while the Elephant in competition III was screened this morning. Will you cast your vote for the Maestro Audience Award?

The films are competing for different awards: The Maestro Jury Grand Prix (2000 euros) will be given to the best short film from the main competition, the decision is made by the festival jury. The same jury will also choose the best short film in the Student competition programme, which will recieve the University of Nova Gorica and University of Ljubljana Award for best European student animated film (1000 euros). The public votes decide the winner of the Maestro Audience Award (1000 euros), and a special jury of 6 children will decide which film from the Elephant competition programme will recieve the 2 Reels Award for the Elephant Children and Youth Programme.

So come cast your vote for the Maestro Audience Award tonight! And if you want to see the main competition programme just for the fun of it, you can also see it again the next day at 10:00 in the morning at Kinoteka, for free!
