Velislava Gospodinova

Velislava Gospodinova was born in 1986 in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2012 she graduated with a master’s degree in Animation Directing from the New Bulgarian University.
Her debut graduation film – The Lighthouse (“Farat”) has been screened at more than 90 international film festivals, and has been certified with several awards at such venues like: World festival of Animated film – Varna, Krok Int. Animated film festival, Animazing Spotlight, Message to Man etc.
The Blood (“Kravta”) is her second film and is supported by the Bulgarian National film centre.
Since 2005 Velislava has worked in the field of visual effects and 2D compositing. She is a freelance art director, compositor and animator. In 2010, she was selected to participate in the prestigious Berlinale Talent Campus.
