Ema Zimonja

Ema Zimonja was born in 1988 in Belgrade, Serbia. In 2006 she graduated from the High School of Design in Belgrade. In the same year she enrolled in the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and graduated this year at the animation department.
Until now she has created two animations: Babaraba & Rajko and Berta, the former film having participated in 2 international festivals of animated film: Balkanima 2011 (Belgrade) and Animateka 2011 (Ljubljana).
She is also skilled in illustration, painting, graphic design and comic books, and also has experience in painting murals as she painted the interior of a prestige nightclub Public affair in downtown Belgrade. She has created logos, designs and concept illustrations for various companies. Her work appeared in a few student exhibitions.
